These bulbs are not purchased directly from the manufacturer. We purchased these bulbs from auctions and businesses that discontinued selling bulbs or went out of business. All are new and most are in original display boxes. Some of the boxes may be ragged or missing, but the lamps are guaranteed new. Most of the lamps are GE or Sylvania brand. Some of these lamps are other brands like Westinhouse, Philips, RCA, Osram, Omega, BIAI, Sunpak, Colortran, Wiko, Eiko, Radiac, 3M, Riluma, Apollo, Kalimar, Avigo, Orion, TP Hi-Lite, EYE, Ushio, Thorn, Durst and GOKO. *This is some type of spot lamp. The filament is designed in such a way as to concentrate a large amount of light in a small area typical of spot lighting applications. Applications for this bulb range from airport beacons, runway lighting, aircraft or motion picture spotlight, search light, or other similar applications that require a high wattage spot light source. The base is called a medium bi-post base and that silver screen below the filament is intended to capture any tungsten particles that expel off from the bulb’s tungsten filament when the bulb is burning in the base-up position.  This design helps prevent bulb darkening when it is in operation.  The “750T14” probably refers to the bulb’s wattage- 750 watts, and the bulb’s shape and size (T=Tubular, 14= designation for the bulb’s diameter).
